Hanvy log lathe TEREM8000B is "three in one tool" for thr production of cylindrically shaped logs used in log home manufacturing. These milled logs (a.k.a giant dowels) are the main component of log home or log cabin shell.

The lathe is able to perform four essential operations on the log: turning, C-groove (Swedish cope), kerfing.

*Debarking/turning: max log length: 26ft (8m), can be extended by 8ft (2.5m) extra frame sections, max diameter: 19½" (500mm)

* Grooving (the style depends on knives, can be: Swedish cope, Tongue&groove, etc), width range from 6¼" to 13½" (160-340mm)

* Kerfing: circular saw blade diameter 300mm, bore 30mm.

Packaging Detail: Machine is shipped as a machine kit, owner is expected to assembling and setup the machine accordingly to provided assembling manual.
